Sixth Form
For many, the Sixth Form is halfway between School and University/College.It provides the opportunity to learn and practise independence and self-discipline, which will be essential in higher education and the world of work. Consequently, we will try to treat you as a developing adult. The superb facilities of our new Sixth Form Centre will allow you to enjoy some independence from younger students, which is so valued by Sixth Formers both at work and leisure. At the same time we have the advantage of being an integral part of Easingwold School with the richness of opportunity which that can offer: there are many chances to participate in sports, music, drama, community service, foreign travel, the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme and various other outdoor pursuits and leisure activities. There is also the opportunity to help organise younger pupils through the House system and so to learn leadership skills, which will be of practical value to you in later life.
